Ok so I have now been through 2 Hurricains, a flood, a small tsunami and now I can add Earthquake! 5.9 they are saying. Shook the house pretty Damn good. Necro is about 40 mins W-NW of me so I am sure he got pretty much the same thing. I was up stairs working in my game room and it started to vibrate. I was like, what the hell is that then a rumble came. "huh this must be an earth quake" "No biggy we had a 3. something a bout 4 months ago or so that was very localised" then the whole damn house started to jump and shift, shit was fallin off the shelves all over the place and i could hear stuff falling down stairs. "Time to go" I hauled ass down stairs to grab the dog and get out the house. All told it felt like 5 mins or so but I heard the news say 45 to 55 secs. All is well, nothing broken or damaged that I could find, kiddos are safe too the school is about an 8th of a mile from the house so they got hit about the same way. Necros area is pretty crappy about power outages so we may not hear from him for a day or so depending.

Yep. That was an eye opener! I was in my shop at work and it started with a rumble, (I thought they were moving heavy shit in the store upstairs) and the next thing I know the WHOLE building shifted right, then left a second later. I am not ashamed to say I made use of the emergency exit near my work bench!
